One of Detroit's foundation deep house DJs since 1982, Norm has been the silent warrior of the deep, connecting collectors and DJs worldwide with rare vinyl and the sound of Motor City. His warehouse holds curated stock sourced from four decades of experience in the scene.

About Norm Talley

Founded Upstairs Asylum Recordings during lockdown in 2020. The label quickly became recognized as one of the best deep house imprints, powered by rare releases, unreleased mixes, and a roster thick with Detroit talent including Omar-S, Moodymann, and Delano Smith.

Co-founder of Beatdown Sounds with Delano Smith and Mike "Agent X" Clark. Vinyl distributor to shops and DJs worldwide, connecting collectors with essential records and alternative mixes.
