Collection: Zoo Entertainment

Profile:

Zoo Entertainment was founded by BMG in 1990. In 1996, the label was acquired by Volcano Entertainment LLC, a independent startup company. BMG remained 10% owner and distributor. In 1998, Zomba, the then-parent company of Jive Records and others, which was independent at that time, bought Volcano, and returned it to the BMG fold, although it never really left it in the first place.

[bNote:[/B All Zoo product that was in-print at that time and released with the catalog number 72445-1XXXX-X was rereleased as 61422-3XXXX-X, with the last four digits in the second block of five being identical, and the final digit in accordance with which format it was (CD, vinyl, cassette, etc.).
