Trema (or Disques Trema) was founded in 1969 by Jacques Revaux and Régis Talar. Trema was one of most successful independent labels in France, mostly thanks to [a334509's records. Trema stands for Talar Revaux Editions Musicales Associées. It became a sublabel of Universal Music S.A. in 2004.
