Born February 3, 1939 in Morganton, NC - died March 21, 2004 in Howell, Brighton Township, MI.
Worked for [l1723 from 1959 to 1972 with the top selling acts of the roster like The Supremes, Smokey Robinson, etc. He also cut some singles in the early 60's as a duo with Jackey Beavers. Then he started working for [l3072. In 1974 he started his solo career with the notorious smash "Hang On In There Baby". He last charting single was "My Girl / My Guy" his 1980 duet with Amii Stewart.
