American singer, born July 8, 1932, The Bronx, New York - died May 18, 2014, Palm Desert, California.

In the early-1950s, [a3359881 heard Vale singing in a New York nightclub and signed him to a management contract. Vale subsequently signed a recording contract with [l1866. His version of the "The Star-Spangled Banner", recorded in 1963, was a fixture at sporting events for many years.
