American R&B/Disco female vocal group best known for recording the hit song [bWhich Way Is Up[/b produced by Norman Whitfield and Mark Davis (2). This release was the title track and main theme song from Richard Pryor's movie soundtrack for [b"Which Way Is Up."[/b And they also included this track on the their self-titled debut album, [iStargard[/i, which spent two weeks at 'Number One' on the Billboard R&B charts in February, 1978. Stargard's hit single also peaked at number twenty-one on the Billboard Hot 100 singles charts and number twelve on the Disco charts.
